You make a life by what you give." **Beverly's breast cancer story...**   "I found out I had breast cancer in February 2017. At first, the news was difficult to hear and process. But, I'm so thankful I had my yearly mammogram done. Because of that, the cancer was caught super early. Fortunately, all I needed was surgery. When my lymph nodes came back clear it was the best news I could have received. Following a consultation with an Oncologist, I was told I did not need any further treatment. I cannot stress enough the importance of women getting their yearly mammograms done. It can absolutely save your life."   🎀 Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women 🎀 Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women 🎀 Every 48 seconds someone dies from breast cancer 🎀 More than 7.5 million people in the world were living with breast cancer in 2022 Komen is the only breast cancer organization taking a comprehensive, 360-degree approach by funding lifesaving research, advocating for compassionate public policy, providing access to high-quality care and financial assistance, and ensuring patients are supported every step of the way.  --- Please join the Workwise Community to help raise the critical funds needed to end breast cancer forever!
